PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the strength of a wheelchair, with which a seat frame and a backrest frame are supported through a link onto a main frame to be reclined. SOLUTION: The wheelchair is provided with a seat frame 12, a backrest frame 13 and a main frame 11 and the seat frame 12 and the backrest frame 13 can be integrally reclined to the main frame 11. The seat frame 12 is linked through a front link 28 and a rear link 33 to the main frame 11 so as to be freely oscillated and both the ends of an elongating/contracting rod 38 capable of adjusting the length are respectively linked to the seat frame 12 and the main frame 11. In the case of reclining, the upper end of the front link 28 pivotarlly supported on the seat frame 12 is moved forward and upward and the upper end of the rear link 33 supported on the seat frame 12 is moved forward and downward. Thus, the seat frame 12 and the backrest frame 13 are reclined backward while being moved forward.
