PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a utensil for easily putting used fish lines together and housing them therein and discarding them. SOLUTION: This utensil for housing used fish lines is characterized by having the following construction: a brush body (1) is provided with a fish line-receiving part (3) and a guide plate (4) each constituted in contact with the tip of the brush (14) and the fish line-receiving part (3) is provided with a slot (5) in parallel to the longer side when viewed from the top.
