PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide room footwear with a band, enabling a required inside core to be inserted from an inside core insert opening and having good external appearance. SOLUTION: In this room footwear A, the inside core 1 is wrapped in a bag-like facing 3 with the diagonal band 2, the bag-like facing 3 is formed by an insole facing 4, and lower surface and peripheral surface facing 5, the base ends of the band 2 are held inside between the insole facing 4 right in the rear of the rear end of the inside core insert opening 6 provided in the substantially front half of a boundary between both facings 4, 5, and each edge part of the lower surface and peripheral facings 5 and sewn there, the forward end parts 2b thereof are sewn at a designated space from the rear end of the inside core insert opening 6 on the surface of the insole facing 4, and a number of cord passing holes 7 are bored in the edge of the insole facing 4 with the band forward end part 2b of the inside core insert opening 6 and the edge of the lower surface and peripheral surface facing 5. A cord 8 also serving as ornament is guided to the cord passing holes 7 sequentially from the outside to the inside, to be exposed stretching between the outsides of the edges of both facings 4, 5, thereby closing up the inside core insert opening 6.
