PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply estimate a splanchnic fat area with high accuracy. SOLUTION: Parameters concerning blood such as a blood pressure and pulses of an examee are measured in addition to measurement of biological electrical impedance to improve accuracy to calculate a splanchnic fat area. A disease index is calculated from the splanchnic fat area and physical information of the examee, and a possibility of an occurrence of disease due to the splanchnic fat area is judged. The data of the splanchnic fat area are stored and when the splanchnic fat area is found to decrease, a computer judges whether an appropriate weight reduction is carried out. |
