<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas separating method and a device therefor, which device concurrently separates and collects a plurality of components from a gas mixture at high purity and is based on the PSA method which is simple in the arrangements, is easy in the operation and is low-cost. SOLUTION: The gas mixture which contains main gas components of two components or more such as air MA is compressed by a compressor 1 as a raw material gas mixture M. The process in which the compressed gas mixture is allowed to flow through an adsorption cylinder 2A which is packed with an adsorbent which hardly adsorbs a first main gas component of oxygen and easily adsorbs a second main gas component of nitrogen and the enriched gas MO of oxygen which is the first main gas component is separated and collected as the first product gas and the process in which the air MA of the raw material gas mixture M after the compression is allowed to flow through an adsorption cylinder 2B which is packed with the adsorbent which easily adsorbs the first main gas component of oxygen and hardly adsorbs the second main gas component of nitrogen and the enriched gas MN of nitrogen which is the second main gas component is separated and collected as the second product gas are periodically switchingly driven, and thus, the first product gas and the second product gas are concurrently produced from the gas mixture.</p> |
