PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a farm product treating apparatus capable of correctly and surely carrying out operation for treating a farm product in desired handling state and saving labor of operation and increasing efficiency. SOLUTION: Welsh onion A carried from a cargo-receiving conveyer 15 is placed in nearly horizontal posture on a placing table 42 of an aligning conveyer 41 and the welsh onion A is subjected to washing treatment by a washing device 30 and cut to an even length by an evenly cutting device 40 and the welsh onion A is changed in nearly vertical posture by a carrying device 20 and then conveyed. Epidermis Ad of welsh onion A is peeled by a separation device 8 and the epidermis Ad hung down below the root Ac is removed by a removing device 60 and the treated welsh onion A is placed in nearly horizontal posture based on a recovery conveyer 67 and carried to the following step.
