METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CUTTING ROD-LIKE FOOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for cutting a rod-like food, in which cutting can be carried out in simple constitution and improved mass producibility in cutting of the rod-like food conveyed in lateral direction. SOLUTION: When loading the rod-like food carried by a carrying-in conveyer provided upstream of a cutting area on a carrying-out conveyer provided downstream of the cutting area and cutting the food, upstream end of the carrying- out conveyer is installed so as to exist in a position lower than downstream end of the carrying-in conveyer.
