PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate an automatic fire extinguisher in good condition regardless of the peripheral environment of a temperature detecting member. SOLUTION: Normally, a nozzle 14 is closed up by a cover 21 to stop jet of a fire extinguish liquid. When a fire occurs, a movable rod 39 releases engagement state of the cover 21 and a stop in 43 due to a temperature rise of the temperature detecting member 31, thereby jetting the fire extinguish liquid from the nozzle 14. The fitting position of the temperature detecting member 31 is varied arbitrarily by a fitting member 32, thereby varying the temperature for opening the nozzle 14 by the cover 21. Thus, the automatic fire extinguisher 11 can be operated in good condition regardless of the peripheral environment of the temperature detecting member 31.
