PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer feeder capable of promoting energy saving in a driving means, and easily designing a die in a transfer press. SOLUTION: A lift beam 13 is driven by a small servo motor 14, and a carrier 15 is driven by a linear motor integrated therewith, respectively, in order to carry a work by using the short lift beam 13 for each of carrying steps T1-T4. Thus, the power consumption can be considerably reduced, and the energy saving can be promoted. The movement of the lift beam 13 for each of the carrying steps T1-T4 and the carrier 15 is arbitrarily controlled by a controller. Control can be performed according to dies in work stations W1-W4, the drive avoiding the interference of the work with the die can be realized, and the versatility of the die design can be increased.
