PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to easily transplant a plurality of seedlings to one planting pot in a potting device for transplanting the seedlings from a raising tray to a transplanting tray. SOLUTION: A transplanting control means 4.8 for planting a plurality of seedlings 43 to one pot 3a on a transplanting tray 3 is installed in a potting device which is enabled to plant seedlings by picking up a seedling 43 in a raising tray 1 on a seedling transport line 5 by a transplanting claw having a pair of chopstick shape and transfer the seedling to the transplanting tray 3 on a transplanting transport line 6 by a claw moving mechanism 8.
