A cover folder (11) which includes a binding bar (13) and a cover (15), the binding bar being slidably and removably mounted on the cover. The binding b ar includes a pair of oppositely facing sidewalls (21, 23) which define the sid es of an interior slot (25). Each sidewall includes an angled barb which projec ts out in a direction towards its opposing sidewall. The cover comprises a shee t (32) folded over on itself to form a pair of panels having a common folded edge (37), the body of each of the pair of panels (33, 35) being separable from one another. A plurality of semicircular cutouts are formed on each panel. In use, the cover is inserted into the interior slot of the binding b ar such that at least some of the cutouts (45) on each panel engage the barbs (29) so that the binding bar will not slip off the cover when the cover is opened to insert sheets.
