SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of preparing a stable liquid composition of growth hormone that involves mixing a growth hormone solution with a buffer and a stabilizing agent. A substance taken among a group consisting of nonionic surface-active substances based on polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene block- copolymer, taurocholic acid or its salts or derivatives and derivatives of methylcellulose is used as a stabilizing agent. Concentration of a stabilizing agent in composition is 0.01-5.0 weight %/vol. Concentration of buffer or stabilizing agent does not exceed the final concentrations of buffer or stabilizing agent in the composition by more than 2-fold. The stable liquid composition of growth hormone shows an enhanced chemical and physical stability, it does not form nondesirable aggregated substances and does not cause chemical alternations decreasing biological activity or changing the recognition of receptor.
