DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING HOROSCOPE INDEX IN CELLULAR PHONE AND METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A device for displaying a horoscope index in a cellular phone and a method therefor are provided to confirm the horoscope index using only a telephone number of an object. CONSTITUTION: If a user inputs various modes such as a horoscope mode and various telephone numbers, a key input unit(100) outputs a selection signal corresponding to the input mode and telephone number. If a horoscope mode selection signal and a cellular phone number of an object necessary for horoscope are inputted from the key input unit(100), a control unit(200) attempts a wireless connection with an external horoscope service system and transmits RF(Radio Frequency) transmission data corresponding to the cellular phone number of the object to the horoscope service system through an RF transmitting/receiving unit(500). If horoscope index information of the user and the object is received from the horoscope service system through the RF transmitting/receiving unit, the control unit decodes received horoscope index information and outputs a control signal for informing horoscope index information to the user. A display unit(300) receives a horoscope index display control signal from the control unit(200), and displays a horoscope index with the object to the user. A speaker(400) receives a horoscope index voice output control signal from the control unit(200), and outputs a horoscope index with the object as a voice to the user.
