PURPOSE: A method of changing software in a mobile communication terminal is provided to download a terminal software file by using the wireless Internet, and to update the terminal software file in the terminal. CONSTITUTION: An MSM(Mobile Station Modem) downloads a terminal software file through an RF transmitter, and stores the terminal software file in a file system area of an ROM(S1). The MSM decides whether an update selection signal of the terminal software file is inputted from a key input unit(S2). If so, the MSM reads a new terminal software file stored in the file system area of the ROM, and stores the read terminal software file in a code program area of the ROM(S3).
