PORTABLE OVERLOAD-MEASURING APPARATUS AND OVERLOAD-MEASURING METHOD

PURPOSE: A portable overload-measuring apparatus and overload-measuring method by the portable overload-measuring apparatus are provided to decide overload simply and quickly with using pneumatics of a tire. CONSTITUTION: A portable overload-measuring apparatus comprises an air pressure-measuring unit, a storing unit(20), an input unit(40), a microcomputer(30), a display unit(50), and a power supply unit(60). The air pressure-measuring unit includes a tire-binding apparatus(12) bound to an air injection port of a tire and an A/D(analog-to-digital) converter(14) for measuring air pressure inside a tire and converting into a digital value. The storing unit supplies reference air pressure of the tire with such store data as the kind of a vehicle, weight of the vehicle, etc. The input unit receives the data of the vehicle and tire, and inputs reference information for detecting the reference air pressure to the storing unit. The microcomputer decides overload by comparing the reference air pressure and the measured air pressure. Quick and simple measuring of overload can be performed with the small-sized portable overload-measuring apparatus.
