PURPOSE: A isothiazolone solution composition having a chromaticity improving effect of the solution composition while exerting no influence on sterilizing power and stability of isothiazolone compounds is provided which has an excellent decolorizing effect. CONSTITUTION: The 3-isothiazolone solution containing isothiazolone represented by the formula 1 comprises 0.1ppm to 20% by weight of a decolorizing agent selected from NaOCl, trichloroisocyanulate, NaHCO3 and H3PO4. In formula 1, R1 and R2 are the same or different H, halogen or C1-4 alkyl, or forms a cycled aryl group by the bonding of R1 and R2; R3 is H, C1-18 alkyl, C2-18 alkenyl, C2-18 alkynyl, C3-12 cyclo alkyl bonded with 3 to 8 atoms, C10-24 aralkyl or C10-18 aryl.
