PURPOSE: A system for transmitting a video using the Internet and a method for transmitting data thereof are provided to transmit a video by transmitting video data from a server to a client in adaptable regardless of performances of an Internet network or a PC of a client in a remote place, or a network traffic status. CONSTITUTION: In a video transmitting system including a server PC(1) having a PC camera and a client PC(2) having a web browser, etc. capable of watching a plurality of transmitted images which are connected through an Internet network(3), a data creating unit(11) converts an image transmitted from the PC camera(4) into a format capable of being recognized by a computer and compresses the image. A memory device(17) stores video data created from the data creating unit(11). A time controller(12) detects a time of the stored video data, compares the time with a pre-set valid time, and deletes video data in which valid time is passed. A table(13) stores the stored video data as a table form. An access key creating unit(14) creates an access key having video data information of the current time and transmits the access key to the client PC(2) through the Internet network(3). An access key controller(16) checks and controls the received access key. An access key processing unit(21) reads the access key and requests video data to the server PC(1). A video processing unit(22) receives the requested video data from the server PC(1). A video output device(23) outputs the video data through a monitor etc.
