METHOD FOR CONFIRMING CALLER USING CALLER ID IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method for confirming a caller using a caller ID in a mobile communication terminal is provided to accurately know the caller by outputting a specific image and a bell sound about the caller in case that the caller ID is terminated in the mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: A control unit judges whether a caller ID is terminated(300). If the caller ID is terminated, the control unit judges whether a telephone number corresponding to the caller ID is stored(304). If the telephone number corresponding to the caller ID is stored, the control unit judges whether a specific bell sound corresponding to the caller ID exists(308). If the specific bell sound corresponding to the caller ID exists, the control unit transmits the bell sound(310). The control unit judges whether an image corresponding to the caller ID exists(312). If the image corresponding to the caller ID exists, the control unit displays a caller terminal telephone number and the image through an LCD(316).
