PURPOSE: A multimedia display tool and a multimedia display method using the same are provided to induce interactive utilization of a moving picture file by storing a predetermined original moving picture having a series of information connection cells in a tool previously and connecting the information connection cells to multimedia data in accordance with a user's selection in real time. CONSTITUTION: An original moving picture storing module(60) is stored in a computer system having an input/output device and stores a predetermined original moving picture having a series of information connection cells. A general connection information storing module(30) stores general connection information applied to the original moving picture. A detail connection information storing module(20) stores detail connection information applied to the information connection cells. A connection video data storing module(51), a connection audio data storing module, and a connection URL(Uniform Resource Locator) data storing module(53) compress and store actual connection video data, connection audio data, and connection URL data. A display control module(10) controls the above modules(60,30,20,51,53), selectively displays the original moving picture to the output device by a communication with the input device. In the case that a series of information connection cell click events for clicking the information connection cells is generated from the input device, the display control module(10) inquires the general connection information and the detail connection information and executes connection video data, connection audio data, and connection URL data connected to corresponding information connection cells.
