PURPOSE: A rolling work hardening apparatus for wire rod is provided which rolling works the surface of the wire rod so as to improve surface roughness and hardness of the wire rod and continuously harden the wire rod at the same time. CONSTITUTION: The rolling work hardening apparatus for wire rod comprises a hollow rotation shaft(20) which is rotationally arranged in a housing(10), and in an axial direction of which a hollow part(23) is formed so that wire rod (W) penetrates thus passes through the hollow rotation shaft(20); a rotation drum(30) which is installed at one end part of the hollow rotation shaft(20) so that the rotation drum(30) is integrally rotated, and one side of which is opened; first and second blocks(40,50) correspondingly installed inside the rotation drum(30); first roll dies(60) which is rotationally installed at the first block(40), and a rotation shaft(61) of which is inclined rearward to certain degrees of an angle on the basis of a vertical surface; second roll dies(70) which is rotationally installed at the second block(50) in such a manner that the second roll dies(70) maintains a certain gap from the first roll dies(60), and a rotation shaft(71) of which is inclined forward to certain degrees of an angle on the basis of a vertical surface so that the second roll dies(70) transfers the wire rod rearward as rolling the surface of the wire rod (W) that is approached; driving means(81,82) for rotating the first and second roll dies(60,70) in the same direction; and a power supply means(100) which is installed at the hollow rotation shaft(20) to supply a power source to the driving means(81,82).
