PURPOSE: An organic EL(Electro-Luminescence) device and a method for fabricating the same are provided to reduce a fabrication process of an organic EL device and prevent a peeling phenomenon from a boundary portion between an insulating layer and a barrier. CONSTITUTION: A transparent electrode(2) is formed on a glass substrate(1) by using a photo-etch method. The transparent electrode(2) is formed by an ITO(Indium-Tin-Oxide) or SnO2. An insulating layer(30) is formed on the transparent electrode(2). A pre-baking process is performed thereon. An exposure process is performed by using ultraviolet rays and a photo mask. A barrier(40) is formed on the insulating layer(30). The pre-baking process is performed thereon. The exposure process is performed by using the ultraviolet rays and the photo mask. A developing process and a post-baking process are performed. An EL layer and a metal electrode are deposited thereon.
