PURPOSE: A plate type heat exchanger for gas is provided to simplify manufacture thereof and to improve energy efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger includes at least one unit heat transfer plate(50) comprising an upper plate(10) made of a metal sheet with a plurality of protrusions protruding in a direction and a lower plate(30) made of a metal sheet with a plurality of protrusions formed in a direction to cross the protrusions of the upper plate both of which are joined to each other so that supplied air fluid passes an inner space formed thereby; and at least one heat transfer plate bundle comprising a plurality of the unit heat transfer plates layered so that heat medium gas passes spaces between the unit heat transfer plates.
