PURPOSE: A sensitivity calibration method and fault diagnosis method is provided to shorten the time required for sensitivity calibration by performing a sensitivity calibration in accordance with the relation between the camera and bonnet of motor vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A sensitivity calibration method comprises a first step(S210) of setting a camera mounting position according to the type of motor vehicle; a second step(S220) of setting a bonnet image captured by the camera at the optimum mounting position; a third step(S230) of mounting the camera to the motor vehicle; a fourth step(S240) of applying the digital image signal captured by the camera to the micro processor; a fifth step(S250) of judging whether the image of the bonnet is matched to the relative position between the bonnet and the camera; and a sixth step(S260) of performing a sensitivity calibration if the image of the bonnet is not matched to the relative position between the bonnet and the camera. |
