PURPOSE: To increase effective light flux volume taken from a lamp as a light source. CONSTITUTION: A reflector of a lamp is molded from materials with heat- resistant plastic mixed with high-temperature conductive material. Since, as a result, molding accuracy is drastically improved as compared with a reflector of heat-resistant glass, a higher efficiency is realized by increasing design freedom making the reflective face aspheric surface of higher order.
