PURPOSE: To provide a slide fastener finishing apparatus capable of inserting a slider from a back opening with a pair of right and left element rows of a fastener chain engaged with each other on a transfer passage for the fastener chain to continuously perform a fastener chain element row engagement process and a single stopper fitting process efficiently. CONSTITUTION: The back opening of the slider 3 is placed and fixed toward the inlet side of the fastener chain on a slider passing part 20 disposed on the transfer passage 7 for the fastener chain, and then the fastener chain put in the state of engaging the element rows delivered from an element engagement part 30 is transferred to a single stopper stop part forming station 40 disposed on the chain downstream of the element engagement part. A wire rod for a stopper supplied to the stop part forming station is cut to a stop piece having a designated length, and bent substantially like an inverted U-shape to form a single stopper, and the stopper is bent substantially like a laid C-shape to be fitted to the fastener tape striding over the element rows. |
