PURPOSE: An active noise control smart foam and assembly having the same is provided to allow the smart foam to be easily installed within a duct and achieve improved noise control performance, while preventing changes of fluid flow. CONSTITUTION: An annular smart foam(50), comprises an outer circle(52) made of an elastic porous synthetic resin foam material; an inner circle(54) made of an elastic porous synthetic resin foam material and accommodated within the outer circle; a circular polyvinylidene fluoride film(60) interposed between the outer circle and the inner circle, and which has a conductive material layer(62) formed at the inner surface and outer surface of the polyvinylidene fluoride film, and generates sound; and a lead wire connected to the conductive material layer formed at the inner and outer surfaces of the polyvinylidene fluoride film, and which permits the polyvinylidene fluoride film to generate sound by applying a voltage.
