PURPOSE: A forward power control method in a W-WLL(Wideband-Wireless Local Loop) system is provided to improve the speech quality of the W-WLL system and increase the capacity of the WLL system by applying various parameters and control means operation algorithms used in a conventional FPC(Forward Power Control). CONSTITUTION: It is judged whether an FPC is an FPC in a sequence state(S101). If the FPC is not the FPC in the sequence state, it is judged whether the FPC is an FPC by channel assignment(S107). If the FPC is not the FPC by the channel assignment, it is judged whether the FPC is an FPC by channel release(S131). If the FPC is not the FPC by the channel release, it is judged whether a CCU(Channel Card Unit) receives an FPC flag(S135). If the CCU receives the FPC flag, it is regarded that a message exists(S157) and it is judged whether an install of the CCU is 1(S159). If the install of the CCU is not 1, it is judged whether an indication of the FPC is 1(S163). If the indication of the FPC is 1, the total amount of a power weight is a value obtained by adding the total amount of the power weight to an FPC value(S165). If the indication of the FPC is not 1, the total amount of the power weight is the FPC value(S167). It is judged whether an admission power weight is greater than the total assigned amount of the power weight(S169). If the total assigned amount of the power weight is greater than the admission power weight, the FPC flag is set as 0 and the FPC is disabled, and an FPC disable message is transmitted to the CCU(S171).
