PURPOSE: A deodorizing apparatus of garbage disposer is provided to minimize gas consumption of a burner and obtain sufficient deodorizing effect within a short period of time by controlling suction and exhaustion flows of a stench gas generated during operation of the garbage disposer and deodorizing the stench gas. CONSTITUTION: In a garbage disposer comprising a main frame, a fermentation tank, an agitator and a deodorizing means, the deodorizing apparatus of the garbage disposer is characterized in that the deodorizing means comprises a heat exchanger(50) on the upper part of the body of which a suction pipe(51) is formed to flow in stench gas generated during garbage treatment, at the inner side of the body of which a separation plate(52) is installed to divide and connect upper and lower parts of the heat exchanger(50), and on both sides of the body of which exhaust pipes(53) are formed; diaphragm members(60) which are formed at both sides of the bottom of the separation plate(52) of the body of the heat exchanger(50), and on the body of which a stench gas suction hole(61) and a stench gas exhaust hole(62) are formed; deodorizing members(70) which are formed in rear of the diaphragm members(60), and which are primarily contacted with stench gas to heat exchange and contact oxidize the stench gas; mesh plates(80) which are installed in rear of the deodorizing members(70) to deodorize the stench gas by emitting infrared rays when stench gas go through; a burner part(90) which is installed in rear of the mesh plates(80) to combustion oxidize the stench gas flown in through the suction pipe(51); a temperature sensor(100) which is installed on end part of the bottom of the heat exchanger(50) to transmit signals by sensing temperature of the deodorizing members(70); a gas proportional valve(110) for controlling flow rate of gas supplied to the burner part(90) according to the set temperature; and a control means(120) which is installed in rear of the diaphragm members(60) to regulate proceeding and exhaustion channel of the stench gas according to signals of the temperature sensor(100). |
