PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing a static electricity of a dust collecting barrel is provided to enhance a removing efficiency of a static electricity generated at the dust collecting barrel, while having an advantage of a transparency and a low cost feature of the dust collecting barrel. CONSTITUTION: A dust collecting barrel(30) having an electrical conductivity and a transparency is installed at an inside of a cyclone vacuum cleaner body. One end of an electric discharge inducing unit(50) is placed at a position which separates in a certain distance(L) from the dust collecting barrel, and the other end thereof is connected electrically to a conducting wire(5a) wound at an inside of an intake hose(5). If the static electricity accumulated at the dust collecting barrel reaches to a certain electrical charge, the static electricity is removed by generating the electrical discharge between one end of the electric discharge inducing unit and the dust collecting barrel.
