PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing a static electricity of a dust collecting barrel is provided to remove securely a static electricity generated at the dust collecting barrel by providing a conductive coating to inner and outer sides of the dust collecting barrel. CONSTITUTION: A dust collecting barrel(15) is installed at an inside of a cyclone dust collecting device body. Inner and outer sides of the dust collecting barrel is coated by a conductive member. A surface of a motor(50) is connected electrically to the conductive coating member by a ground unit. The static electricity generated at the dust collecting barrel is moved toward the motor, and neutralized electrically. The ground unit comprises a first grounding piece(21) fixed at the motor, a second grounding piece(22) having an elastic fixing portion which is fixed at a fixing rib(101a,101b), and a contact member(23) for contacting the second grounding piece(22) and the first grounding piece(21).
