PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and efficiently identify an invader or the like later by enhansing the crime preventing function of entering/leaving room management by means of an ID card or the like and recording the video of all entering/ leaving persons including the invader or the like. SOLUTION: When a sensor 112 captures a figure inside a sensing area or microphone 116 detects an abnormal sound 115, video is recorded for a prescribed time by a CCD camera 113 and stored in a memory 124. In a front face detecting processing part 118, a front face candidate stream is provided by a parametric template method or the like from the observed image file stream of video in the memory 124 and a prepared standard average face template, it is collated and decided out of the front face candidate stream which face image is an image facing the front, and this image is stored in an internal image memory or memory 124 as a front face image. From such recording of video or front face image recorded for a prescribed time by the CCD camera 113, the invader or the like can be surely and efficiently identified later.
