<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide variable displacement swash plate compressor with a simplified and lightened linkage in comparison with a conventional one preventing excessive bearing pressure in a compression reaction force transmitting part of the linkage. SOLUTION: The variable displacement swash plate compressor is provided with a drive shaft 1, a rotor fixed to the drive shaft, a swash plate 3 penetrated by the drive shaft, the linkage 9 connecting the rotor and the swash plate so they cannot relatively rotate around the drive shaft while allowing an inclination fluctuation of the swash plate to the drive shaft and transmitting compression reaction force from the swash plate to the rotor, a plurality of single head pistons moored to the swash plate via shoes, and a cylinder block having a plurality of bores slidably inserted by the single head pistons. The linkage has a single compression reaction force transmitting part, and a point of application of compression reaction resultant force to the compression reaction force transmitting part of the linkage is within an area of the compression reaction force transmitting part during high discharge pressure.</p> |
