PURPOSE: A gas insulated load switching apparatus is provided to improve a safety efficiency and economical added value of a user by preventing people or animal from contacting with contact points and reducing a whole size of the switch. CONSTITUTION: The gas insulated load switching apparatus comprises a semi-cylindrical upper case(110) and a semi-cylindrical lower case(120), which define a cylindrical inner space, and a rotating part mounted to a center shaft of the cylindrical case. The upper case is provided with a first fixed contact point(111) connecting from the inner surface to the outer surface of the upper case, and an earth contact point(112) connecting from the inner surface to the outer surface of the upper case so that it forms an angle of 60degrees with a mount position of the first fixed contact point. The lower case is provided with a second fixed contact point projected toward the outer surface of the lower case so that it forms an angle of 60degrees with a mount position of the earth contact point. The rotating part has a rotator(131), and a movable contact point installed to the rotator so as to be in contact with the first and second fixed contact points and the earth contact point successively.
