The low-pass filter connects a low-frequency line to a bifilar line which delivers the signals in the low-frequency line and the signals in a high-frequency line, and comprises at least one cell of elliptic or dual elliptic type and a dissipative dipole interposed in the transmission. The filter comprises at least three cells of quadripole elliptic type interposed on two transmission branches, and the dissipative dipole is interposed on at least one branch between the first and the second cell. A cell comprises two transmission branches, at least one branch comprises an inductor in series and a capacitor in parallel between the two branches; the inductor is in series with that of the neighboring cell, and the capacitor is connected between the joining point of inductors and the other branch. The two inductors in series are wound on the same core. The filter is of symmetric type. The two inductors in series in one transmission branch are wound on the same core as the two inductors in series in the other transmission branch. The dissipative dipole comprises an inductor in parallel with a resistor, or an inductor in parallel with a resistor and inn parallel with a capacitor. The filter comprises at least one cell of dual elliptic and symmetric type with four coils connected to the poles of the same capacitor, and all coils are wound on the same core. The filter comprises two low-frequency transmission lines connected to the bifilar line by a switch, the two lines are with filters with cells of dual elliptic and symmetric type, where four coils of one filter line cell are wound on the same core, and four coils of the other filter line cell are wound also on the same core. The filter comprises three cells of dual elliptic and symmetric type mounted in cascade with two linking inductors having specified values.
