PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast reception recording and reproducing device that can record/reproduce a plurality of multiplexed programs altogether on the basis of copyright information. SOLUTION: A tuner section 22 outputs a bit stream of a plurality of multiplexed programs in a received channel, a copy permission information identification section 23 identifies copy permission information of a plurality of the programs from the bit stream, a recording multiplex packet demultiplexer section 24 selects coded data consisting only of the programs for copy permission from the coded data of a plurality of the programs, configures a data stream and provides an output, and a recording and reproducing section 30 collectively records/reproduces the data stream.
