PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a sufficient reproducing power margin regardless of a low reproducing power in a ID part. SOLUTION: A magneto-optical recording medium has at least a recording layer 26 for data recording and a reproducing layer 30 for reproducing data recorded in the recording layer 26 on a substrate and reproduces data by setting a proper reproducing laser power at the time of reproducing. In this magneto- optical recording medium, buffer parts, sector address parts, and gap parts interposed between data parts to be recorded are uniformly magnetized with the recording direction as the magnetization direction.
