PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a length of an exhaust pipe to sufficiently fulfill the engine performance, and to mount a silencer as a heavy body on a position effective for lowering a center of gravity of a car body and taking the longitudinal weight balance of the car body. SOLUTION: In this motorcycle, an engine 40 is mounted between front and rear wheels 32, 34, and the exhaust gas is discharged through the exhaust pipe 60 extended from the engine 40, and the silencer 70 connected to the exhaust pipe 60. The silencer 70 has a gas outlet 74 near a gas inlet 73. The silencer 70 is mounted on a lower part of the engine 40 in a state that the gas inlet 73 is faced to a rear wheel side, and the exhaust pipe 60 is connected to the gas inlet 73 of the silencer 70 in a state of being extended to the neighborhood of the rear wheel 34.
