PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a driving device for a plasma display panel, capable of reducing cost by dispensing with a heat sink and a fan by suppressing an amount of heat generation from a integrated circuit itself provided at the uppermost part of the driving device. SOLUTION: Respective row electrodes Y1 to Y480 , being 480 lines in total, are connected respectively to output terminals being 480 pieces in total, from the output terminal OUT33 of an integrated circuit 51a, which is provided at the uppermost part to the output terminal OUT64 of the integrated circuit 58a, which is provided at the lowermost part. As a result, all 32 pieces of excess output terminals which are not connected to any of row electrodes Y1 to Y480 exist in the integrated circuit 51a, which is provided at the uppermost part in a scan driver part 42. Thus, the amount of heat generated from the integrated circuit 51a itself can be suppressed further, as compared with those of other integrated circuits 52a to 58a themselves.
