PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide storage and conveyance facility capable of solving problems, such as degradation in work efficiency occurring at the time of conveying articles, complication of conveyance logic, congestion, attaining high efficiency of workers, high operability by the efficient usage of the equipment, and cost reduction by facility reduction. SOLUTION: This conveyance facility comprises a plurality of racks A to C which have a number of storage parts 11 for storing articles, a plurality of stacker cranes D, E which convey the articles to the storage part 11 of the racks A to C or delivering the articles from the storage part 11, a carrying-in device 17 which delivers the articles carried in the stacker cranes D, E, a receiving device 19 which receives the articles to be carried-in and transfers the articles to the carrying-in device 17 through a transferring device 18, a carrying-out device 20 which receives the articles carried out from the stacker cranes D, E, and a conveyance device 22 which receives the articles from the delivery device 20 and conveys the articles to a target delivery device 21, thus performing carrying-out work during carrying-in work using the transfer device 18.
