PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the processing ability of a whole system and the flexibility of the system by the optimum decentralization of the functions of the whole system into control unit sub-systems. SOLUTION: This communication control device for an elevator comprises a group control unit 10 for performing allocation control in accordance with car stop call registration signals to be registered by car stop buttons, car control units 30-32 for controlling the elevation of cars in accordance with allocation signals and car call signals, car stop registration control units 40, 41 for controlling the input processing of the car stop call registration signals and the output processing of car stop button registration lamp signals from the group control unit, a car stop display control unit 50 for controlling the input processing of destination floor registration signals to be registered by destination floor registration buttons set up on respective floors and the output processing of the allocation signals and the destination floor registration lamp signals, and an expansion control unit 20 joined to other networks. Each of the control units 10-50 has a communication device 100, and the communication devices 100 are connected to each other via a transfer line 101.
