PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hypertext display device that can easily re-display original preserved data even when link destination in the preserved data is specified and new data is acquired from a server device for displaying on a screen. SOLUTION: When the link destination in the preserved data is specified, an acquisition processing section 104 makes a sending/receiving section 103 download hypertext data of the link destination and a history storage section 110 register identification ID of the preserved data that is presently displayed. When a user instructs 'content return', the section 104 reads out the preserved data corresponding to the identification ID registered in the section 110 from a preserved information storage section 111 for displaying the data on the screen.
