PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical switch for optical fiber communication which is capable of changing over communication routes without being affected by a difference in the wavelengths of a light signal and can deal with multiwavelength communication of a WDM system, etc. SOLUTION: This optical switch has a micromirror 2 which is disposed movably between a reflection position P1 by Ampere force F in a magnetic field and non-reflection position P2 and the communication routes of the light signal are changed over by utilizing the reflection of the light signal by this micromirror 2. |
