PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink composition for ball-point pens which gives a smooth writing feeling and good writing marks at both initial and later stages. SOLUTION: The aqueous ink composition contains a dithiocarbamate derivative of formula (1) (wherein R is H or a lower alkyl group; and X is NH3 , Na, K, Zn, Cu, Fe, amine or alkanolamine) and a hydroxylamine of formula (2) (wherein R1 is an alkyl group; and R2 is H or an alkyl group). |
