PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centralized monitoring system for concentrically monitoring output signals outputted from various kinds of disaster preventing equipment and measuring instruments arranged in a large scale office or the like by a centralized monitoring device arranged in a remote place or the like. SOLUTION: The centralized monitoring system is provided with a monitoring repeater 400 for converting a disaster prevention detecting signal being an output signal from a fire sensor and indicating a prescribed detection result and a process signal being an output signal from the measuring instrument 300 and indicating the measured result of a prescribed sort of physical quantity into a serial signal and a PHS unit 500 for converting the serial signal into a radio signal and transmitting the radio signal to a PC 700 through a PHS network 3. The PC 700 executes prescribed monitoring processing based on the radio signal transmitted through the PHS unit 500.
