PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device with an electroacoustic transducer that allows a user not to recognize the presence of the electroacoustic transducer and to feel as if sounds were emitted from a displayed image. SOLUTION: The image display device is provided with an enclosure 2, an image display panel 6 fitted to the enclosure in a way of being able to be vibrated, a magnet 8 fixed in the enclosure, and a coil 10 that is placed in a magnetic field formed by the magnet and fitted to the enclosure in a way of being able to be vibrated. The image display device is characterized in that the image display panel is vibrated to emit a sound wave when a sound signal is supplied to the coil.
