SOLUTION: A slag foaming inhibitor 12 is charged into the basin 3" of a molten iron fall in molten iron flow and the molten iron ladle 13 for receiving the molten iron adding a desiliconizing a agent while drop-flowing into the molten iron ladle from a tilting trough 4. At this time, the thickness of the slag 22 and its changing speed in the molten iron ladle 13 or the slag thickness and its changing speed are measured and based on this information, the additions of the foaming inhibitor 12 and the desiliconizing agent 8 are adjusted. Charge of the foaming inhibitor is chuted from the upper part at the top part of the tilting trough 4 by detecting whether the molten iron 3 flow is dropped from either top end parts 4a, 4b of the tilting trough.
