METHOD FOR CONTROLLING OPERATION OF REFRIGERATOR FOR STORAGE OF KIMCHI

PURPOSE: A method for controlling operation of refrigerator for storage of kimchi is provided to extend life of the refrigerator and to reduce noise and power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A method includes a simultaneous cooling pattern cooling one of two refrigerate compartments(3,4) down to a lower limit of set temperature range when cooling operation is started as temperature of the other refrigerator compartment exceeds an upper limit of the set temperature range. The cooling pattern includes the steps of: a step A which is operating RF cycle where all of a refrigerator compartment evaporator(14) and a freezer compartment evaporator(15) are operated and driving a refrigerator compartment evaporator fan(14a) when temperature of the other refrigerator compartment exceeds the upper limit of the set temperature range; a step B which is opening one of dampers(7,8) of the refrigerator compartment exceeding the upper limit simultaneously with the step A for chilled air to flow into the refrigerator compartment exceeding the upper limit; and a step C which is opening the other damper of the refrigerator compartment within the set temperature range and cooling until temperature of the refrigerator compartment within the set temperature range reaches the lower limit of the set temperature range simultaneously with the step B.
