PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent heat radiation from a support metal fitting for attaching a water pipe thereby to prevent freezing of the water pipe provided with a protection cover for heat insulation. SOLUTION: Bolt through holes 8, 9 of which diameter is larger than that of a bolt 6 so that the bolt 6 passes through them and is not brought into contact with them are formed in flanges 5c of the semicircular metals 5a, 5b between which the water pipe 1 is caught and a flange 7a projecting from a pedestal 7 attached to a bridge or the like. Rubber sheets 11 are respectively interposed between the flanges 5c, between the flange 5c and flange 7a, and between outside of the flange 5c and outside of the flange 7c, and the bolt 6 is inserted into the through holes and a nut 12 is screwed into a projecting end portion of the bolt and is tightened. Since the rubber sheets are interposed between the metals, the metals are not directly brought into contact with each other to prevent heat transfer.
