<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of that conventional data generating device cannot calculate an address of a data unit until all coded data are prepared, resulting in being unable to record the coded data in real time. SOLUTION: On a recording medium 38, multiplexed coded data extracted from a multiplexer 32 is recorded in real time and a logic unit processing unit 33 receives also the coded data, where the data are subjected to logical unit processing. A unit reproduction time calculation unit 34 calculates a time when a logic unit is recovered from the multiplexed coded data. A data size calculation unit 35 calculates a data size and also calculates an end address of an I picture and a P picture configuring the logic unit from the multiplexed coded data. A unit reproduction time, an end address and a unit size are recorded in another area different from a reading area of the multiplexed coded data in the recording medium 38 as special reproduction information data.</p> |
