PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the wedge shape formed with a developing roller, to secure necessary abutting pressure, to prevent charge from being accumulated on a soft elastic body, to efficiently electrify toner and to improve the flatness of the soft elastic body. SOLUTION: This developing device is equipped with a toner amount regulating member for regulating toner amount on a developer carrier (1) while bringing an elastic member (5) attached on a support (4) press-contact with the developer carrier (1). In the device, a part where an attached layer (6) does not exist between the support and the member (5) is provided at least at a part of the back surface part of the press-contact part of the member (5) with the developer carrier (1). |
